Elbow Beach Capital Names Advisory Board

Elbow Beach Capital has today appointed an Advisory Board composed of three industry experts with experience ranging across sales transformation, business development, sustainability strategy and digital health solutions.

As an investor in early-stage businesses, Elbow Beach Capital recognises the challenges that young businesses face throughout their pathway to commercialisation. Through its founding team and Advisory Board, Elbow Beach Capital will provide entrepreneurs and their teams with the counsel required to handle the myriad complexities of establishing and growing a business.

The Advisory Board:

Lucy Boreham – A co-founder of a boutique sustainability consultancy, Lucy has over a decade of experience leading sustainability strategies across the financial services, construction and consulting sectors. She is a passionate advocate for sustainable business practices and will focus on ESG strategy and reporting.

Andy Summerfield – A telecoms founder with three decades’ experience at large listed businesses. Andy’s career has encompassed telecoms, enterprise software, professional services and two significant organisational integrations. Andy’s focus will be on sales transformation and generation.

Dr John McGrane – A consultant clinical oncologist at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, John specialises in systemic anti-cancer treatment of urological and gynaecological cancers. He has a keen interest in digital health solutions for cancer patient follow up and care. In 2018, he co-founded the award winning MySunrise cancer patient support app. John’s focus will be on digital health solutions and social impact businesses.
